DPH50
Tecnical Features
Motor unit and movement:
Motor unit, equipped with internal combustion engine, 4-stroke, 6.5Hp of power which allows both the movement of the instrumentation (by means of rubber tracks: 3 speeds forward and backward) and its operation.
Drive system:
Hydraulic hammer weighing 50 kg, sprinting 50 cm, with a stroke frequency of 20/40 strokes / min, with treated steel base equipped with housing for driving rods (Ø 28x1000mm) and lateral anti-friction coatings.
Guide column and hydraulic extractor:
Steel column, guide structure for the execution of the penetrometric test, for the automatic raising of the hammer mass, for the hydraulic extraction of the rods, the coatings and the core barrel.
During the movements the guide column is positioned on the self-propelled.
Dimensions and weights
- Drive system: 18.0 kg
- Swing mass: Kg 50,0
- Ø 28×1000 mm rod: 4.50 kg
- Coating Ø 38×1000 mm: Kg 2.00
Total weight DPH50 with standard equipment: ~ 350 kg
ATTENTION: weights and measures may vary with changes and improvements to the project.
Before purchasing, go to the company with your own means of transport to check the transportability of the penetrometer!
Considerations of the geologist
- Shipping:
The instrument consists of a tracked dumper and a driving system and a 10-piece battery of rods.
All the necessary equipment can be transported by means of the penetrometer on two lateral doors. - Use:
Due to its small size, it allows more complex positioning. It can easily move on slopes and on rough terrain. - Lithotypes indicated for this instrument:
Clays, silt, medium to thickened sands, low-consistency stone materials - Maximum investigable depth:
10-20m. Excellent compromise between energy and transportability, the advice is to use the disposable tips in case of particularly deep tests.
